These are collections of images from Art Tests I've completed. They include Naughty Dog, and Square-Enix.
The Naughty Dog art test was a texturing ability test for a Texture Artist position. Assets were provided, and were not UV'd, lit, or textured whatsoever before having begun the test. The models were simply grouped into layers (rock, grass, etc) for convenience and organization purposes. All textures were custom made, and were required to be no larger than 512 by 512 resolution.
The Square-Enix art test was an assignment that was based on level design ability, tasked with using only rudimentary shapes and animations to portray actions and events the character would have to perform or encounter throughout the level. I had to create an entire level scenario that had 2 different paths the player could take, animations, a back story for it, game-play mechanics and puzzles documentation and descriptions unique to this "game." Different colors represented different elements. Overall completion time for the test was 12-15 hours.
